How do you bill for your services?

For tax services, we bill at the time of the completed return is presented for signature.  We require payment upon receipt.  Other services are billed monthly as work progresses. All standard forms of payment are accepted including credit cards.

What hours are you available?

We are available during normal business hours, which are 9:00 to 4:00, Monday through Friday. Drop offs can be done during this time. Appointments are available all year long and can be outside normal business hours during February to April.  We would be happy to make special arrangements for evening or weekend consultations.

What role do you play if the IRS audits me?

We are here to support you as much as needed during an IRS audit.  We can take full control and become the primary contact or only assist is providing the right answers to any IRS inquiry.  Audit support services are not anticipated or part of the return preparation fee and our regular fees apply.

How much and what kind of preparation do you need for my return?

For individuals, IRS requires we receive original documentation for W-2's, 1099's and any other issued tax document, with some exceptions.  Other documentation will be required to support income reported and deductions taken.  For businesses (including schedule C and Schedule E(rental)) any reasonable organization of information, preferable computer software(bookkeeping) reports.  Of course in both cases the more organized and clear, the return can be prepared quickly and accurately.  Contact us with questions about your specific situation.
